This course covers a rigid class 2 truck with a GVM (gross vehicle mass) between 6000kgs and 18000kgs or a GCM (gross combination mass) between 6000kgs and 12000kgs

Prerequisites

Must hold a class 2 learners licence to attend this course.

Course Outline

​

This course is held over 2 days and is made up of unit standards 24089 Logbook & Fatigue Management & 17574 Class 2.

Day one will cover off US 24089 where you will learn about signs and symptoms of fatigue and how to manage fatigue at work and at home. You will also learn about worktime hours and how to complete logbook entries. 

​

Day two will cover off US 17574 where you will learn about loading and securing loads, vehicle hazards, safe driving techniques and fines followed by a practical driving assessment.

​

Upon successfully passing these assessments you will be issued with a certificate that needs to be taken to a driver licencing agent to complete the licencing process.
